Actor Rahman met with an accident while shooting for
his dream project in Malayalam Musafir in
Bangkok.
Rahman’s wife Mehurunisa’s elder sister Saira
Banu is married to the Oscar winning composer AR
Rahman.
Rahman got injured during a bomb blast scene shot
for the film. A shell used hit him but the injury is
not serious.
Musafir is Rahman’s comeback film as an
action hero and is directed by Pramod Pappan. The
film has Rahman, Mamta and Tamil actor Bala in the
lead.
The film has been under production for the last
two years in Dubai, Cyprus and London. Remember
Rahman was a rage and one the big stars of the 80’s
in Malayalam through fPadmarajan’s Koodevide,
IV Sasi’s Kanamarayathu, Bharathan’s
Ithire Poove Chuvanna Poove and nearly 100 other
films.
Rahman has also done 50 odd films in Tamil and
Telugu like Nilave Malare, Puthu, Puthu Arthangal,
Kalki, Sangamam etc. Recently he shined as
villain in films like Billa and Vaamanan.
Rahman is very close to his co- brother-in-law AR
Rahman. Some time back AR Rahman came for the audio
release function of Musafir in Kerala
